Powerful engines, BMW`s intelligent xDrive all-wheel-drive technology, Dynamic Stability Control, optional Active Steering and Adaptive Drive, as well as Dynamic Performance Control featured for the first time on the BMW X6 even as standard equipment, set the foundation for superior driving dynamics at all times.

X6 xDrive 35d

The X6 xDrive35d is equipped with the world’s most powerful production six-cylinder diesel powerplant with 286hp. The award-winning twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre diesel engine has been brought to the BMW X6 range to cater for a growing demand for performance SAVs.

The twinturbo diesel engine makes 6.7 sec from 0 to 100Km/h

X6  xDrive 35i

The xDrive35i,  also offers twin turbos and has an output rated at 300hp and 300 lb-ft of torque.

X6  xDrive 50i

The xDrive50i sports a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V-8, which makes 400hp and 450 pound-feet of torque.

Makes 5.3 sec from 0 to 100Km/h.

BMW X5

It has a choice of two petrol and two diesel engines.

The BMW X5 defines an expanding group of big, powerful SUVs that shine for their on-pavement agility and responsive acceleration, with an emphasis on safety, comfort and luxury appointments.

All trims share the same standard six-speed automatic transmission with Steptronic shifting, as well as BMW’s xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive system. Standard equipment includes 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control and leather upholstery (leatherette on the 3.0si trim); an optional third-row seat adds versatility. Safety features for the X5 include first and second row side curtain airbags, Dynamic Stability Control with rollover sensor, run-flat tires and adaptive brake lights.

BMW X5   3.0sd

The X5 3.0sd  is equiped with the world’s most powerful production six-cylinder diesel powerplant. The award-winning twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre diesel engine has been brought to the BMW X5 range to cater for a growing demand for performance SAVs.

The BMW X5 3.0sd provides the driver with 286hp and a flat torque curve with a peak of 580Nm from a lowly 1,750rpm to ensure rapid performance. The X5 3.0sd is capable of accelerating from zero to 62mph in 7.0 seconds before going on to a top speed of 146mph.

BMW X5   3.0si

The 3.0si has a 260 hp 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder petrol engine,

BMW X5   4.8i

The 4.8i boasts a 350 hp 4.8-liter V8.

BMW X5   4.4M ??

It is speculated that another future “M-Sport” Model, due in 2009, will have a 4.4L Twin Turbo V8 that will produce about 430hp (320 kW). Transmission choices differ from that offered today – 6-speed Steptronic will be offered as a standard option.
